When Things Go Wrong

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Before I forget, I scored another A+ for the previous module. That's 2 A+ and 1 A. 3 more modules to go!

Time to go sleep. I'm stagnant on my presentation slides again and 9am lesson later.

Need to have my doubts cleared and it'll be smooth sailing, hopefully. :)

Meaningful Sunday!



Took with me the courage to stand in front of an audience and appreciate my Mum and 大姨 during Family Matters luncheon on Sunday afternoon.

It wasn't just a song, but one that speaks to me on how to love my family in a more practical way.

I told myself.. It is not only on such occasion that we show love & appreciation. It should be a lifestyle, just like how our relationship is with the Father.

I am really really thankful. :)

Stumbling.. Haven't been in the best of shape for the past week. Be it my health or spiritually..

So many thoughts spiraling in my mind and yet, I can't put them in words. Same old problem is coming back at me now. Slowly slipping to something deeper, depression perhaps? No. I should pray.
