Watched "Drag Me to Hell" @ JP just now, and I would have to admit it's really a comedy-horror film.
Seriously, a sacrificial goat that talks when the "spirit" possessed it? And a housefly going in on the left nostril and coming out on the right? Forcing its way into your mouth while you're asleep? Days later, you cough real hard after choking on some food and it flies out. It's really hilarious.
Those who are courageous enough to overlook the horror part really should watch. Or if you have the way not to watch in the cinema, then feel free to. :)
Service was terrific with all the testimonies from the celebs. It was really encouraging to hear and understand that they have been through their valleys and darkest times and God came through for them, brought them to even greater heights.
If God can do it for them, God can do it for us. The weekend service has taught me to look forward, to the future that God has planned for me. I believe God will open the doors that will bring me to my destiny. I shall march on..
Don't wanna walk this road alone
Cause I know You are
The best of me
And I won't do it on my own
Cause in You
I found my destiny
The road is long
The valley's deep
The ocean's wide
In front of me
But God saved the day
Jesus You're the way
The truth, the light, the hope for all mankind
And yester-night was a good evening out for good with the cellgroup. Although the schedule was held back due to the celebrity weekend, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. The planned route for Hungry-Go-Where was supposed to be 3 destinations but it was shortened due to time constraint. But kudos to organisers, the buses that were catered were able to ferry us back to our area where we live. Very thoughtful. :) And fortunately, the bus driver uncle lives near Boon Lay area and we managed to hitch a ride even nearer to home for some of us. Blessed!
After yester-night, I now know where exactly Bedok 85 is. I've passed it like so many times before but I didn't know it was where all the good foods were hidden. I remember those long bus trips taken with Deb Dear during secondary school days actually passes there. Ok, now I'm enlightened.
I'm looking forward to another chance to return back to Bedok 85 to try the 肉脞面. No 猪肝, more 肉脞 and more 醋. :)
Thereafter, we went go Old Airport Road hawker center as the last stop. The 云吞面 was a long wait. I was told of a 15mins of waiting time when I was checking out the stall and so, I gave it a pass. Looking for another chance to try the food there too. I got a cup of Soursop drink from this uncle there, he was really nice. Gave me alot of the Soursop flesh with the drink. Blessed x 2!
Back to work tomorrow, and I'll be back soon. Have a great week ahead. :)
