Hello to the few readers of my humble blog, I'm back with a quick update.
Been a fast week that went by. All I can say is, POWER! I feel that I've moved up a level personally. I've managed to drag myself out of bed to attend the morning prayer meetings at the Jurong West chuch building. It's something that I wanted to commit to when announcement of it was broadcasted in church service at Expo. So far, I've only missed one, which was the first day. =(. But I had valid reason cos I was working night shift on Sunday till 10a.m on Monday. I'm really looking forward to the prayer meeting later.
To me, I feel this is what we've been taught in church. Doing something when it's inconvenient elevated me to the next level of my walk with God. Adding to the fact that I go to work for another 12 hours after that.. It's really a test of faith, endurance, capacity and commitment.
Talks of the outing for the CG has been going on. We'll be discussing the details with Diana in the morning! Hopefully, we'll be able to decide on something before time runs out. Haha! And by faith, I'm believing 1+1 attendance for the outing. Let's make it happen, beloved W429!
Moving on, I wanna share about my first time leading the Testimony Session during CGM on Saturday. I really felt I went "gabra" half way through, but I guess my nervousness didn't show much since the feedback I got was good. =) It's something that took loads of my boldness, seriously.
Recalling what happened, I had the "revelation" that the Testimony Session was actually for me to learn something. Something that has to be practised often. And that's to encourage people in our lives. This is something that not everyone can do naturally. But given time and regular practice, we can be sure that people feel the difference when they share their ups or downs with us.
